Bal-Swing is a partnered dance built on smooth, tight footwork. Created in the 1930s, Bal-Swing transitions well between other forms of swing dance including Lindy Hop and Charleston. The classy style drwas dancers of all ages and can be danced to a wide range of tempos. Come learn the basics of bal-swing–Everyone is welcome!
Cost: $10/$8 per class

Cap off a great weekend of showdown dancing with DJ Peter Strom and a Late Night Soul Party following the Sunday night dance at Cinema Ballroom. Some snacks will be provided to keep you groovin’ into the wee hours of the morning at this dance dedicated to funk, soul, motown and R&B. Come get your groove on!
*This event is not included in the Showdown weekend pass. Cover charge is $5.
